Great trees and post! Have you ever thought about cutting back that field maple hard to bring the canopy more inward and make an overall more compact design? I think it would improve the tree greatly.
Yes you are right.I only got this tree 9 months ago so I didn’t know what way it was going to sprout.the plan is with this tree is to take it out of the pot and plant it in a timber box and graft new roots from whips and Chase back the canopy.
