This is a black pine i got from kaizen bonsai.all the candles were cut off in late may and this is its second flush.Cork bark black pineStages of early development for this black pine. When this pine came to me it had hardly any roots and struggled for the first year.luckly it survived and is starting to show me its a bit happier. One more black pine.
By the way is one of them by chance a European Black pine? I live in Czech and when people say black pine here it means the actual Latin ‘Pinus Nigra’. It took me a while to get used to it, and when they mean JBP they say Thunbergii.
The first and second and last trees are Japanese and I say you are right, the third and fourth are pinus nigra.they were field grown in France but I am not sure on the variety.i will find out 🙂
All nice trees in the making mark
